Level III / IV NETA-Certified Electrical Testing Technician

Clayton Services is searching for a Level III / IV NETA-Certified Electrical Testing Technician to join a thriving company in the Houston area. The Level III / IV NETA-Certified Electrical Testing Technician will be responsible for leading and performing hands-on acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning testing of electrical systems while mentoring junior technicians and ensuring adherence to strict safety and industry standards.

Job Type : Direct Hire

Pay Rate : $60.00-$80.00 / hour depending on experience

Level III / IV NETA-Certified Electrical Testing Technician Responsibilities :

• Lead and perform NETA-certified testing on transformers, switchgear, breakers, relays, cables, and related electrical equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and performance standards are met.
• Mentor and train Level I and II technicians in field testing practices, safety protocols, documentation, and career progression toward certification.
• Enforce safety measures such as arc flash protection, lockout / tagout procedures, and job hazard analyses in compliance with NFPA, NETA, and OSHA standards.
• Prepare accurate and detailed reports while using mobile-based CMS tools (or similar platforms) for real-time data tracking and deliverables.
• Collaborate with engineering, commissioning, and operations teams to deliver safe, efficient, and timely project outcomes.
