Staff Research Engineer (NLP/LLM)
Founded in 1965 with billions of dollars in committed capital currently under management, Greylock is a top-tier venture capital firm that invests in disruptive, market-transforming technology companies.
Currently, a growth-stage investment of ours in CA is looking to hire a staff-level applied research scientist with a strong background in NLP and Deep Learning.
Position can be based out of the SF Bay Area or be full-time remote.
Qualifications :
- 5+ years industry experience in NLP, Deep Learning with a strong academic foundation (PhD in Computer Science or related field preferred)
- Solid understanding of gradient-based methods in deep learning (GANS, LSTM, CNN, GNN, Transformers, etc.)
- Excellent coding skills and hands-on exp with modern ML frameworks
- Familiarity with large-scale clusters and / or parallel processing environments is a plus
- Prior startup experience and / or working remotely is a plus
