Maintenance Planner / Coordinator
The maintenance planner / coordinator is responsible for developing maintenance work plans as prescribed by the site maintenance manager / maintenance supervisors. The planner / coordinator will be accountable for tracking costs for the Advario Texas City Complex budget and revising controllable cost forecasts continuously throughout the year, manage the process and system used to provide updates on actual costs and develop accruals by working with the asset supervisors and managers. The planner / coordinator is to ensure that activities are consistent with Advario Core values and support site specific goals.
The maintenance planner / coordinator will work with the maintenance supervisor, discipline leads, operations coordinators, to review and plan all maintenance activities at the Texas City Complex and will be responsible for interacting with the warehouse attendant to manage the inventory, prepare and deliver all materials and resources to perform maintenance activities.
The maintenance planner / coordinator will review and keep track of key performance indicators (KPIs) for the maintenance department.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities :
- Estimate labor, material, equipment, and service resources for maintenance per the established planning process.
- Lead all maintenance planning meetings to support the maintenance activities and prepare / organize the weekly work plan.
- Work with warehouse attendant to check, store and deliver necessary resources and parts for all the planned maintenance activities.
- Critique and adjust plans / task lists for completed jobs based on information returned from work execution crafts and supervision; seek feedback from work execution team.
- Assist with work order closures and documentation as required.
- Provide weekly communication to Operations, Logistics, and Maintenance personnel pertaining to planning progress of assigned work.
- Manage and develop variance explanations monthly.
- Prepare weekly maintenance performance reports by location.
- Utilize available sources to track expenses and cross reference to forecast.
- Manage the planned versus actual reporting and maintenance expense forecasting.
- Work closely with contractors to facilitate timely invoicing for work completed and estimating run rates for work not invoiced and to be accrued.
- Support budgeting and forecasting work for the Texas City Complex.
- Perform other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the organization.
