About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Category Manager & Head of Sourcing Operations to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a senior leader and category manager, responsible for partnering with the Chief Procurement Officer to design and execute institution-wide sourcing strategies, policies, and processes. This role involves maximizing opportunities, mitigating risk, and driving sourcing strategy across various portfolios, including capital projects, security, infrastructure, technology, and exhibitions. The Senior Category Manager will also be tasked with leading a team, developing and growing supplier relationship management and sustainability programs, and ensuring adherence to sourcing policies and compliance with institutional standards.

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field, with an advanced degree or MBA being a plus. A minimum of 10 years' sourcing and procurement experience, with at least 7 years in leadership roles, is required. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sourcing and category management, particularly in the areas of construction, facilities, infrastructure, technology, and exhibitions. Strong business management, change leadership, and supplier relationship management skills are essential, as is a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and sustainability in sourcing practices. The role demands a polished, articulate, and effective presenter, capable of engaging with senior leadership and boards.
