This position will be located in Irving, Texas and following a hybrid work model. Hybrid (Combination of work from home and in-assigned office location)

Responsibilities

About the role :

As the Commercial Business Intelligence (BI) - Senior Analyst you will work with business customers in the Commercial organization to provide data structure and reporting solutions that effectively monitor the business and support strategic decision making.

Some additional responsibilities include but are not limited to making productive contributions to corporate projects as required, fulfilling scheduled reporting and data needs for all of Commercial Lending and external partners, and giving guidance to other Analysts.

The Commercial organization is made up of floorplan dealer lending and commercial vehicle lending.

In this role you will :

• Develop and maintain accurate and effective data solutions such as list reports, crosstabs, charts, interactive dashboards and ETL processes using tools such as Cognos Analytics, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics, Power BI and Informatica for users both within the department and across the company
• Lead collaborative sessions with various business groups to gather and document BI project requirements
• Work with various ITS and business functions such as Systems Integration, Data Warehouse and BI Administration to ensure that source system data is available for assigned projects
• Properly document BI processes as they are moved into production
• Continually seek opportunities to refine, improve, and automate data gathering and reporting
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Commercial Lending and source system processes and the associated impacts on data sources
• Establish and maintain positive working relationships with internal Commercial Lending team members and various external departments
• Act as a resource and lead for less experienced Commercial Lending BI team members, providing guidance on more complex tasks

Qualifications

What makes you a dream candidate?

• Advanced knowledge of Cognos Report Studio / Cognos Analytics, SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Visual Analytics, Power BI, Informatica, and / or Oracle SQL queries
• Advanced knowledge of relational database technology and design
• Advanced knowledge of data visualization and ETL concepts
• Knowledge of Salesforce.com
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must have a strong understanding of Commercial operationsand nowledge of floorplan dealer lending
• Knowledge of dealership, fleet / commercial and indirect auto finance industry operations

Experience :

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or computer related field required
• 5-7 years report development experience using Cognos, Power BI, SAS Visual Analytics, Business Objects, or similar reporting tools required
• 3-5 years experience with ETL tools such as Informatica or Microsoft SSIS; experience designing multi-dimensional cube reports;

experience data modeling and designing reporting data marts; report development experience using Cognos, Business Objects, or similar reporting tools preferred
