Manager of Pricing Strategy

Your Mission : Build Pricing That Wins - and Lasts

As the Manager of Pricing Strategy, you'll own the development of pricing models and strategies that help Eclipse Advantage win competitive bids and deliver profitable, sustainable results. This isn't about generic spreadsheets - it's about creating sophisticated pricing tools that capture the true economics of our business. You'll partner with business development, operations, finance, and executive leadership to shape strategies, pressure-test assumptions, and ensure our bids are both competitive and achievable.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complexity, understands 3PL, Cost Per Unit, Lumping and staffing economics, and can translate operational details into clear, data-driven pricing frameworks.

Your Impact :

  • Lead Pricing Strategy : Build tailored pricing strategies for RFPs and client opportunities that maximize our chance to win while safeguarding profitability.
  • Model with Precision : Create and maintain advanced Excel-based pricing tools that incorporate wages, payroll taxes, workers' comp, productivity assumptions, startup costs, and more.
  • Ground in Reality : Use client data and market benchmarks to inform assumptions and run sensitivity analyses that show how different scenarios affect outcomes.
  • Own the Deal Review Process : Schedule and lead cross-functional Deal Review meetings to determine whether to pursue new opportunities and to finalize pricing before submission.
  • Drive Successful Launches : Partner with operations during implementation to ensure new sites are set up to deliver on pricing expectations.
  • Close the Loop : Conduct post-go-live reviews comparing actual performance to the model; use insights to refine future pricing strategies.
  • Collaborate Across Functions : Work closely with recruiting, operations, and finance to assess inputs like labor availability, productivity expectations, and operational considerations.
  • Stay Current : Continuously monitor wages, tax rates, and other key factors that influence pricing models.

What You'll Bring :

  • Deep knowledge of 3PL / warehouse / distribution center operations and Cost Per Unit / Lumping / Staffing industry economics.
  • Proven ability to build complex Excel pricing and financial models at an expert level.
  • Experience leading cross-functional meetings involving operations, finance, sales, and senior executives.
  • Comfort with pushing back on assumptions by using data, benchmarks, and prior performance metrics.
  • Professional background in supply chain management, logistics, or staffing with direct exposure to pricing, modeling, or financial analysis.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10% to 20% across the US and Canada for site visits and deal reviews.
