Our client, a property management company in Worcester, MA, is seeking a dedicated full-time Property Manager to join their team.

Position Overview :
The Property Manager will oversee an apartment community’s operations, ensuring alignment with ownership goals, regulatory standards, and company policies.
they will represent the property in local committees or task forces to address community issues and maintain positive relationships with local agencies.
Responsibilities of the Property Manager :
- Develop and manage the annual budget, monitor financial performance, and prepare monthly financial reports.
- Recruit, manage, and develop staff, ensuring adherence to property goals and policies. Conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Ensure the property’s physical condition is safe, attractive, and efficient. Comply with inspection standards from agencies such as HUD and state housing finance.
- Handle resident paperwork, including background checks, applications, leases, and regulatory documents.
- Manage contractual services, ensuring high-quality and cost-effective solutions. Solicit new bids and maintain current contracts.
- Promote positive resident relations to reduce vacancy and ensure retention. Address resident needs and concerns promptly.
- Report any resident or property issues to senior management. Ensure regular communication with staff through meetings.
Qualifications for the Property Manager :
- NAHP designation (or to be completed within two years).
- Preferred certifications : C3P, NAHP, CPM, and ARM.
- Experience with tax credit housing, Yieldstar, OneSite, ILM, and Active Building.
- Comprehensive understanding of property management practices.
- Strong skills in customer service, financial management, leasing / marketing, and maintenance oversight.
- Proven ability to supervise staff and manage property operations effectively.
- Knowledge of housing regulations and relevant programs.
- Excellent leadership, judgment, initiative, and discretion.
- Proficient in both English and Spanish communication.
- Skilled in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Preferred experience with the RealPage suite of products and basic marketing.
Education Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Business preferred.
