About The Position

We are seeking a Neonatology Nurse Practitioner for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Virginia. This role begins on Jan 5, 2026, and supports a team providing 24 / 7 coverage with on-call shifts and weekend requirements. Candidates must have an active VA license, board certification in Neonatology, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform all standard Neonatal Nurse Practitioner duties as required
  • Provide on-call clinical coverage for neonatology patients
  • Participate in a 24 / 7 coverage team as scheduled
  • Ensure all required prescreening questionnaires are completed
  • Note and communicate any procedures that cannot be performed
  • Additional Information

  • Active VA license required
  • Board certification in Neonatology required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
