The Hired Guns are seeking a skilled Senior Copywriter to take on a part-time contract role writing compelling content for a variety of marketing and media channels at a trusted online healthcare marketplace.

Since many people have let their personal healthcare needs fall by the wayside during the pandemic, this platform is currently experiencing a surge of interest and growth as it helps people find, schedule, and access results for lab testing.

To keep up with this growth, they’re looking for a top-notch medical / healthcare copywriter who can write for a variety of long- and short-form media and see projects through the whole creative lifecycle from inception to deployment.

As Senior Copywriter, you will be responsible for writing compelling marketing, communications and promotional materials aligned with company’s brand guidelines, including emails, blog posts, white papers / research, social content, e-books, and target consumer or buyer persona-specific sales collateral.

You’ll also have a lot of opportunity to inject strategy into demand-gen copywriting for both B2B and B2C audiences. If you’re looking for a great contract writing gig at a growing company that is helping people access healthcare, then this is the role for you.

Why You?

How you’ll know if you’re a fit

You have a minimum of 5+ years experience in content marketing or copywriting and are as comfortable with patient-facing content as you are communicating with healthcare providers.

You’re a strong creative and conceptual thinker. You’re comfortable working independently with little direction under tight timeframes.

You have a proven record of demonstrating a brand voice and an excellent portfolio of work to boot. It goes without saying that you have excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is a must. Previous experience in fin-tech or healthcare is a plus, but not mandatory.
