Sourcing Specialist
Description :
Market Intelligence o Working knowledge of Market Intelligence resources for drilling, completions, and production related information.
o Ability to compile and translate data from various sources with various software tools to facilitate interpretation relevant to various audiences such as local through executive management.
o Monitor, assess, and provide feedback for adjusting supply strategies, with a significant impact to the business, based on supplier and market intelligence.
Strategy Development o Work collaboratively within Suppliers, Supply Chain, and Key Stakeholders to identify and develop category and supply base strategies to meet organizational goals and maximize value.
o Identify and develop Cost Drivers and Should-Cost models with Key Stakeholders and Suppliers. o Participate in reviewing emerging opportunities within the supply community and acting as an advisor to management.
o Deliver project management capabilities to ensure timely completion of strategy implementation. · Strategic Sourcing o Develop and execute sourcing methodology for the category or Supplier based on the developed strategy.
o Lead analysis of commercial & technical offerings. o Develop standardized sourcing templates to facilitate cost analysis.
o Lead supplier negotiations, including coordinating with other Key Stakeholders, to ensure a uniform and ethical approach.
o Lead complete contract negotiations and implementation of supplier contracts and agreements. o Review and provides recommendations on sole source justification when applicable.
Supplier Relationship Management o Evaluate, negotiate, and provide proposals for periodic contract price reviews. o Work with Suppliers in driving the utilization of enabling technology solutions.
o Lead in product standardization process with the technical organization to help rationalize needs. o Facilitate the creation and tracking of performance metrics with Key Stakeholders and Suppliers to ensure alignment of performance goals and value.
o Ensure completion of corrective actions and develops means to ensure issues do not arise again. o Work independently with key suppliers to develop a product curriculum to enhance team’s knowledge of materials and services.
Communication o Ensure Key Stakeholders, SCM, and Suppliers are fully engaged in supplier / category strategy development and execution through frequent formal and informal communication.
o Meet with Key Stakeholders routinely to understand needs and proactively advise of market, sourcing, and contract-value opportunities through supplier meetings, negotiating or revising existing relationships.
o Ability to provide professional communications to disseminate information across various levels of the organization including field level personnel, engineering professionals, or executive management.
Leadership o Ensure current and continued compliance with all regulatory requirements, policies and procedures both internally and externally to the Institution.
o Provide technical and professional mentorship to help develop SCM skill sets. o Exercise an entrepreneurial approach to continuously look for new opportunities to drive improved value.
