Job Summary (includes but is not limited to the following, other duties may be assigned)
Using Strategic Sourcing methodologies, the role will manage the procurement of chemicals and chemical-related services for the company, within the set purchasing policies and guidelines, to ensure best landed cost, and uninterrupted & timely supply in line with the objectives of the business stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze data for chemical category.
- Conduct sourcing events in S2P system.
- Supplier relationship management.
- Contract development and negotiation.
- Function as chemicals subject matter expert which includes collaboration with key stakeholders to identify emerging cost and supply risks.
Job Requirements
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field with minimum of 5 -7 years related experience in strategically sourcing and procuring commodity chemicals.
- Expertise in procurement / sourcing tools and process (SAP, Ariba, etc.).
- Strong Excel and data analytics skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Coupa S2P.
- Strong understanding of commercial contract negotiation and terminology.
