General summary of the position : Teamwork is a major part of every position at Ruston Paving, so it is important to note that, aside from all other listed responsibilities, you must be willing to assist others and be as productive as possible. The Field Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing all labor, materials, and equipment for successful completion of construction projects as prescribed by Division Managers and Project Managers.

Supervisory responsibilities : The Field Operations Manager is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the subordinate foremen, field personnel, shop personnel, and drivers within their specified division. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
