Responsibilities
- The SIS Engineer supports the design, reliability, and proper operation of SIS throughout the plant.
- Draws from their extensive industry experience and principles from multiple engineering disciplines to validate all aspects of the safety design.
- Assure the availability of the SISs, drives improvements in documentation and Operations compliance with bypassing policies, and ensures on-time completion of required periodic testing.
- Support the PHA, MOC, and Incident Investigation processes.
- Evaluate Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) reports for change impacts to SIFs.
- Design and implement new SISs or modifications to existing SISs including logic configuration, instrument wiring design, and instrument specification.

Requirements
- The SIS Engineer will have a BS degree with a relevant engineering major.
- 5 + years experience with dedicated safety logic solver systems in a process industry.
- Layers of Protection Analysis (LOPA) methodology.
- Causal analysis investigation experience e.g. RCA, Causal Learning, TOP, TapRoot, etc.
- Triconex and / or Honeywell experience a strong plus.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
