Industrial Electrician.

We are looking for a Industrial E lectrician who will be responsible for executing electrical engineering plans / drawings while driving quality.
This candidate will join a team of electricians and will be assigned to one or two projects a time. This position will interact with the lead electrician, plant manager, electrical / controls engineers, and other departments to ensure that electrical work is always moving forward.
This position will also report daily progress and updates to the Lead electrician and Plant Manager.

WORK EXPERIENCE : 5 years plus YEARS EXPERIENCE
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform the duties of an Industrial Electrician, including review drawings / schematics, wire electrical industrial panels per NEC codes, wire electromechanical equipment, pumps, heaters, PLC, field install of process equipment and machinery.
Install and provide diagnostics / troubleshooting. Assemble and wire control equipment such as Programmable Logic Controllers.
Analyze and solve electrical problems.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
- Ability to wire and layout Programmable Logic Controllers power & control panels
- Ability to bend, size and route conduit
- Working knowledge of AC / DC motors and motor starter
- Working knowledge of 480 / 240 / 120 volt systems
- Ability to install, calibrate & connect transmitters, switches & process control devices
- Ability to read ohmmeters, voltmeters as well as using a variety of electricians tools
- Thorough knowledge of electrical codes
- Calculate wire quantities and sizes in conduits based on diagrams
- Run point to point test and troubleshoot wiring problems
- Team oriented, organized and focused on meeting goals
- High School Graduate
- Able to lift 75lbs.
- Able to stand while working for extended periods and agility to climb on / off of skids
