Job description

Locum Tenens Physician - Internal Medicine (Cardiology) near Seattle, WA (ASAP - Ongoing)

We are seeking an experienced Internal Medicine Cardiologist for a locum tenens opportunity near Seattle, WA. This position is available ASAP and will continue on an ongoing basis. The role primarily involves call coverage in an inpatient setting.

Position Details :

  • Practice Setting : Inpatient

Responsibilities :

  • Provide on-call coverage for cardiology cases in an inpatient setting.
  • Call Coverage : The role involves call-only duties with specific schedules to be determined.
  • Hospital Privileges : No hospital or surgery center privileges required.
  • Admissions Required : No

    • Requirements :

  • Board Certification : Required in Internal Medicine with a focus on Cardiology.
  • License Requirement : Licensed in Washington State or through IMLC.
  • Certifications Required : None (ABLS, ACLS, BLS, ATLS, and PALS are not required).
  • Credentialing Timeframe : Estimated at 30 days.

    • Additional Information :

  • Holidays Observed : New Year's Day, 4th of July, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.
  • Reimbursement : Licensing costs will not be covered by the facility. The provider will need to manage these expenses independently.
  • Temporary Privileges : Available if needed.
