Job descriptionEducation : Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Licensure / Certifications : Active CA Occupational Therapist (OT) license. Current BLS certification. Experience : 1+ year of clinical experience in rehabilitation or acute care settings. Technical Skills : Proficiency in assessments, treatment planning, adaptive equipment, and EMR documentation. Soft Skills : Strong communication, empathy, and problem-solving abilities. Conduct evaluations to assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities. Design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve ADLs (activities of daily living). Provide therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, and coordination. Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home exercise programs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PTs, SLPs, physicians) to optimize care. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and outcomes. Ensure compliance with facility protocols and regulatory standards.

This per-diem role involves evaluating patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and helping individuals regain independence in daily activities through therapeutic interventions.
