The Opportunity

This role is for a Senior Pursuit Manager focused on the Water Solution Portfolio and will be responsible for driving Design-Build pursuits and helping drive mega-pursuits for the Water Solutions group. In this role, you will have the opportunity to :

• Responsible for pursuit management, coordination of proposals, interviews and negotiations leading to selection.
• Manage proposals that are Design-Build or large services scope and generally with medium to high-risk profiles.
• Manage multiple pursuits of differing revenue, contracting structures, complexities and schedules at a given time.

Professionals in Pursuit Manager roles interface directly with the Client Account Management, Project Director and Project Manager, to develop the proposal execution strategy, schedule, assemble the proposal response team, and develop the project execution plan.

The Team

Black & Veatch's Governments & Communities focuses on specific infrastructure needs of municipalities, state and local governments, and specialized physical and digital infrastructure solutions for government and federal agencies. By joining our market sector, you will be able to provide infrastructure for community benefit.

You will be responsible for driving pursuit teams in the management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP). You will also be assigned proposals that may range from small to large scope and generally have medium to high-risk profiles.
