Utilities Solutions Account Executive

The Opportunity with Edo We are adding a Utilities Solutions Account Executive to our growing Edo team in Seattle, WA. As an experienced sales and business development professional, you will bring your intuitive skills and business expansion experience to Edo. In this role, you will drive the full lifecycle of utility sales activities to build, qualify, and manage a pipeline, as well as shape and win large opportunities. The Utility Solutions Account Executive role supports relationship-building with electric utilities in North America to help grow Edo's utility program business. This role is ideal for someone with early to mid-career experience in sales, technical sales, business development, or program support in the energy or utility sector, with interest in energy efficiency, demand response / flexibility, and clean energy programs. Beyond supporting business development activities, this role calls for basic knowledge of grid-interactive buildings, demand response, DERs, and energy efficiency programs, and a willingness to grow into a trusted contributor on DSM, customer engagement, and energy technology tools.

Additional responsibilities may include :

  • Identify, shape and win opportunities with utilities with an annual sales target.
  • Support identification and development of opportunities with utilities, working alongside senior sales leaders.
  • Contribute to building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
  • Assist with development and implementation of go-to-market strategies.
  • Support customer and partner relationship management through meetings, follow-ups, and account planning.
  • Represent Edo at conferences and industry events, including participation in utility client meetings.
  • Assist in preparing responses to RFPs and RFIs, and support technical teams by gathering information and helping with basic scoping of solutions involving : Building automation and controls. HVAC and building system optimization. DERMS and utility demand response platform integrations. Flexible load management, daily load shifting, and energy efficiency efforts.
  • Support the team by organizing and translating utility customer needs into actionable notes and requirements for engineering and delivery teams.
  • Provide updates and reporting on sales activities to the senior sales team.

What You Need to Succeed at Edo Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 2-4 years of experience in sales, account management, or utility / energy-related program support. Familiarity with the utilities market, energy efficiency, or demand response programs strongly preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to prepare presentations, proposals, and reports. Comfortable working in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams) and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce). Standard office working conditions. Ability to sit / stand at a desk for long periods. Up to 40% - 50% seasonal travel for client meetings and industry events.
