Asset Manager

The Asset Manager role is pivotal in overseeing the ingestion and lifecycle maintenance of data center assets, utilizing Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) tooling to ensure accurate and efficient asset management for the Site Operations team. The manager will develop and implement standardized workflows for asset onboarding, maintenance scheduling, and decommissioning, ensuring data integrity and alignment with operational goals. By collaborating with Site Operations teams and subject matter experts (SMEs), the role ensures that asset management processes support the operational efficiency and reliability of the data center campus.

Oversee the ingestion, tracking, and lifecycle maintenance of data center assets within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure accurate and comprehensive asset records.

Collaborate with Site Operations teams and stakeholders to define and implement asset management processes, ensuring alignment with operational goals and data center performance objectives.

Develop and maintain standardized workflows for asset onboarding, maintenance scheduling, and decommissioning, leveraging CMMS tools to optimize asset performance and longevity.

Monitor and validate asset data integrity within the CMMS, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all data center assets, including mechanical, electrical, and IT equipment.

Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs) to identify and integrate new asset types or technologies into the CMMS, ensuring lifecycle management reflects current data center requirements.

Conduct regular audits of asset data and maintenance records to identify gaps, risks, or inefficiencies, using insights to improve asset management strategies and compliance.

Analyze CMMS data to track asset performance metrics, predict maintenance needs, and inform lifecycle replacement or modernization plans, supporting data center operational efficiency.

Administer training and documentation for CMMS usage, ensuring Site Operations teams are equipped to utilize the system effectively for asset management tasks.

Stay abreast of industry trends in asset management and CMMS technologies to adopt best practices and innovative solutions for data center asset lifecycle management.

3+ years of experience in asset management, data center operations, or related roles, with a focus on CMMS tooling and lifecycle maintenance.

5+ years working in a critical facility or data center environment, with knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and IT assets.

Proven track record in implementing and managing asset management processes and CMMS-based workflows.

Strong analytical skills to assess asset data, predict maintenance needs, and optimize lifecycle strategies.

Excellent communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and train teams on CMMS usage.

Familiarity with industry-standard asset management practices and CMMS platforms (e.g., Maximo, ServiceNow, or similar) is highly desirable. Experience with data center modernization and integration of new asset technologies is a plus.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only US : Hiring Range in USD from : $79,100 to $158,200 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
