About the Role
Are you a detail-oriented professional with a knack for mechanical systems and customer service? SSI is seeking a Power Parts Coordinator to support our service operations by managing parts inventory, coordinating maintenance, and ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction. This role is vital to keeping our lift trucks and service vehicles running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with customers and Field Service Mechanics to identify maintenance needs.
- Advise on necessary and suggested services; estimate costs for repairs and parts.
- Process service and parts orders using web-based systems.
- Maintain accurate records for lift trucks and SSI-owned vehicles.
- Audit service center expenses and generate performance reports.
- Manage inventory, reorders, and emergency shipments.
- Handle warranty claims and EPA waste compliance.
- Conduct monthly 5S / safety audits and supervise the service center when needed.
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong computer proficiency with web-based programs.
Physical capability for lifting, stooping, and bending.Mechanical aptitude, preferably in forklifts or related equipment.Professional demeanor and confidence in customer interactions.Valid driver’s license with insurable driving record.Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts.Education & Experience
High School diploma or GED required.Experience in the Parts / Service industry, especially coordinating with technicians.Prior customer service experience preferred.Benefits
