Kentro is hiring for a cleared Software Engineer to support the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.

Responsibilities :

Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.

Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.

Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.

May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.

May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.

Location : On-site in St. Louis or Arnold, MO.

Requirements

6-8 years of experience with the following :

Software Development – Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.

Software Design & Architecture – Experience in researching, designing, and developing software applications and utilities. Experience in updating and improving existing software applications.

Database Management – Knowledge of database development, integration, and maintenance.

Networking & Systems – Understanding of network software and system performance requirements.

Clearance :

Active TS / SCI with willingness to take CI Poly

Must meet updated ID requirements :

If you do not currently meet the ID requirements outlined, you must be willing and able to update your current forms of ID in a timely manner to complete the suitability process successfully.
