Technical Analyst (Product Application Support)

Maximus is looking to add a Remote Technical Analyst (Product Application Support) to our team. The Remote Technical Analyst will build, create, update, and monitor schedules adhering to the specifications of Development and Business users.

Project Specific Duties :

• Build, create, update, and monitor schedules adhering to the specifications of Development and Business users
• Build, update, maintain and monitor the Scheduling server and its installed Applications adhering to the specifications of the Vendor, Development and Business needs.
• Update various software to ensure appropriate versions are deployed to minimize operations risk
• Ensure that effective monitoring processes are established and followed to minimize operational risk
• Ensure that procedures for processes are followed and all documentation is current and accurate
• Ensure prompt notification to Management of sensitive or critical issues.
• Identify opportunities for process automation
• Proactively identify, report, resolve or escalate critical control issues
• Support delivery of IT projects within agreed timeframes and scopes
• Support delivery of Key projects on time, adjusted as appropriate for Business-approved modifications to the release schedule
• Support and ensure all security policy and procedures are followed

Project Specific Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or additional years of experience would be consider in lieu of a degree
• 7+ years of relevant experience required; 10+ preferred
• Experience in management of business / user requirements, business process modeling and solution evaluation
• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions
• Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
• Excellent time management skills, results driven, attention to detail and follow-through
• Experience working and collaborating remotely

Additional Requirements as per contract / client :

• Must be a U.S. citizen
• Must currently reside in the U.S.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must not be delinquent or in default on any federal student loans

Employment and continued employment are contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable clearance. Final suitability determination is the sole discretion of the Department of Education.

Home Office Requirements :

• Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection
• Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
• Private work area and adequate power source
• All equipment will be provided by Maximus (Computer & Headset)

Education and Experience Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Serve as primary point of contact with MAXIMUS project staff and / or clients to define the business and technical requirements of assigned projects.
• Act as primary liaison between project business staff and technical staff.
• Responsible for gaining a detailed understanding of components of the business and translating that knowledge into the requirements for systems or processes.
• May lead area of requirements development including work plan development and task, timeline and resource management.
• Define and document data file extracts, automated process flows and report structure, image and content to support application development, enhancement and maintenance.
• Design, document and produce ad hoc reports for supported projects that tabulate, summarize and report data to support project activities.
• Evaluate and recommend enhancements to application efficiency and reliability.
• Test application processes and participates in design and code walkthroughs.
• Audit, evaluate, track and report implementation and activity of project applications for QA / QC compliance.
• Assist with system support activities to address requested changes and enhancements.

Minimum Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 7-9 years of related professional experience.
