Responsibilities :

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of controls projects, ensuring they meet all scope, time, budget, and quality requirements.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring projects align with their expectations.
• Manage and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve project objectives.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful project completion.
• Oversee financial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and prepare comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications :

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the controls or building automation sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees or project management certifications (e.g., PMP) are advantageous.
• Strong technical background in control systems, with expertise in HVAC controls, lighting controls, and security systems.
• Demonstrated ability to lead diverse teams and manage complex projects effectively.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Financial management skills, with experience in budgeting and financial project oversight.
• Must be based in Columbus, OH, or willing to relocate. A solid and stable work history is preferred.
