Gardner Health Services currently recruiting for a Medical Scribe position. This is a full-time,40 hour / week position based out of the Saint James Health Center located at 55 East Julian Street in San Jose, California.

The primary responsibility of the Medical Scribe is to participate in the successful execution of scribe services to health care providers.

This position will be required to follow and observe Provider(s) for extended periods to accurately document every aspect of every patient encounter as well as assist with efficiency of each Provider (s) by complying with the location-specific workflows.

The Medical Scribe will be expected to work collaboratively as part of a team.

Minimum Qualifications :

The minimum qualifications of this position is listed below. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

• High School Diploma required or Associate’s Degree, preferred.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and spell English and medical terminology proficiently.
• Bilingual English-Spanish, preferred.
• Proficient in the following Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Excel, Pivot, and Word; proficiency with PowerPoint.

Previous experience w / Electronic Health Record experience preferred.

• Type at least 45 WPM, preferred.
• Six (6) months experience working in an outpatient clinic or doctor’s office.
• If selected, other documents and certifications may be required as part of the hiring and credentialing process*

Compensation :

Compensation and level of position placement will be determined based on relevant experience and education.

Medical Scribe : $19.23 - $24.04 / Hourly
