Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager
Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Manager for clients with annual revenue of $25M to $100M supporting the Emerging Middle Market area of our Commercial Bank. In this role, you will :
- Research complex credit investigations and diverse credit information for loans
- Identify opportunity for process improvements within scope of responsibilities or functional area
- Review and identify basic operational assignments that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives while exercising independent judgement to guide medium risk deliverables
- Present recommendations for resolving complex situations and exercise independent judgement while developing expertise in the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with functional colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders including internal as well as external customers
Required Qualifications :
2+ years of Commercial Banking Portfolio Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work experience, training, military experience, educationDesired Qualifications :
Experience with complex credit, underwriting, and debt structure for clients with annual revenue of $25M to $100MCompletion of a formal credit training programProven ability to manage client relationships and collaborate with cross-functional teams. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple prioritiesExperience as a commercial banking Portfolio Manager, with a focus on Middle Market C&I, Commercial Real Estate, and Investor Real EstateStrong expertise in loan origination, portfolio monitoring, financial modeling, credit underwriting, and risk analysis for complex commercial businessesDemonstrated leadership and mentorship capabilities. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearlyIn-depth knowledge of industry standards, banking regulations, and compliance requirementsFamiliarity with the Bank's software and credit risk management toolsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related fieldJob Expectations :
