Shift : 8-hour day shifts (08 : 00 – 16 : 00)

Hours per Week : 40

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1860–$2000 per week

Call Requirement : Yes (2 late stays / week, 1 on-call / week, rotating weekend call every 3 weeks)

Weekend Requirement : Yes

Float Requirement : As needed within RN skillset

Charting System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Navy Blue

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Texas or compact state)

BLS certification (American Heart Association required)

Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience

Previous travel nurse experience preferred

Experience with Cerner electronic charting preferred

Ability to take call and work weekends as scheduled

Operating Room RN Responsibilities

Deliver direct patient care in the Operating Room, prioritizing patient safety and comfort during all surgical procedures

Assist with diverse surgeries, including open heart, neurosurgery, appendectomy, orthopedic, cholecystectomy, subdural hematoma, and hernia repairs

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure high-quality clinical support

Float to other perioperative areas within your nursing skillset as needed

Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Cerner EMR

Participate in on-call rotation, late stays, and weekend shifts as required by the healthcare facility
