Short Description

Advanced Practice Provider (Physician Assistant or Advance Practice Nurse) for Inpatient General Neurology

Applicant must be board-certified.

Experienced candidates are preferred (Neurology, Neurosurgery, Emergency Medicine) to meet the needs of this complex patient cohort. New graduates will be considered.

The Advance Practice Provider will manage general neurology patients on a non-teaching service line with the support of a general neurology attending physician.

The Advance Practice Provider will work 8-hour shifts, from 7 : 00am-3 : 00pm, no weekends, nights or holidays required. The candidate should be able to work holidays / weekend, if needed.

The provider should be comfortable with reviewing imaging.

Training will be provided to ensure optimal patient care prior to provider independently seeing patients.

Education Requirements

Master's Degree - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required

License / Certification Requirements

Board certification Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Board certification as Physician Assistant; Active New Jersey License; American Heart Association ACLS / BLS and CDS / DEA
