Shift - DAYS; 8 : 00AM-5 : 00PM Mon-Fri

Duration- 13 weeks contract

Job Summary :

Conducts or participates in special procedures while working directly with the radiologist to obtain specific results to be used by physicians for diagnostic purposes and interventional treatment.

Stand-by call also required.

• Performs special procedures in a manner that ensures an accurate and complete examination within the guidelines, policies, procedures and standards of Medical Imaging to assigned patients of all ages.
• Performs sure guidance and needle guidance using CT and / or Fluoroscopy under the direct supervision of the Radiologist.
• Exhibits competency in performing and filming angiographic and CT radiographic procedures.
• Deviates from routines when the patient's condition requires it or at the request of the radiologist.
• Knowledgeable of catheters, guidewires, and sterile trays and prepares these items as necessary.
• Obtains and documents accurate pre and post procedure information as applicable.
• Follow JCAHO patient safety goals.
• Maintains quality care throughout the procedure.
• Practices radiation protection through shielding whenever possible.
• Demonstrates a practical problem solving approach to patient moving and handling issues.
• Demonstrates skills to promote patient and staff safety through appropriate use of lift equipment.
• Performs patient bedside lab testing and associated quality control in compliance with medical provider s orders and hospital lab procedures and policies
