National Account Manager Payer (Midwest or South US)
The National Accounts Manager - Payer role calls on Regional and National MCO’s, as well as evolving health care models / integrated payer provider models (IHNs, ACOs, PCMHs, Medical Groups, MC Payers, and state Medicaid / Government).
The main goal is to deepen Philips / Ambulatory Monitoring and Diagnostics (AM&D) contracts, partnerships and understanding of these models and their impact on access for the Philips ECG Solutions and Ambulatory Virtual Care (AVC) portfolio.
Your role :
The National Accounts Manager -Payer role primarily works with payers and providers on contracting, rate negotiations and policy.
Internal partnering with marketing, finance, clinical, and patient services. Most contracts involve long selling cycles of 6 months to 1 year.
Focuses on the entire Philips AM&D portfolio but may manage and focus on a single product (MCOT, Holter, IDM). May be called on as a technical product expert to develop and present sales proposals and systems solutions, and complex technical sales.
Having a wide range of experience this role can use professional concepts and objectives to resolve complex issues in innovative and effective ways.
Build relationships with key C suite individuals. Specifically, but not limited to : Chief Medical Officers, VP of care management, Contracting, director of plans, Sr.
Medical director, Head of Medical Policy, Quality directors etc.
Works together with health care entities (IHN, ACOs, PCMHs, Medical Groups, MC payers) and provides cross-functional teams (internal and external) advice and guidance on potential medical value, quality improvement solutions for cardiac monitoring of patients that if implemented by the health care entity, may lead to better patient outcomes and improved healthcare delivery for detection of Afib, lowering of re-admissions rates and better outcomes.
This position is Home Based however will require travel to customer sites approximately 25% the time.
You're the right fit if :
You’ve acquired a minimum of 5 years of successful experience working with integrated payer provider models (IHNs, ACOs, PCMAs, Medical Groups, MC / PBMs, and / or retail)
Your skills include In depth knowledge and experience cardiovascular therapeutic disease states; Experience managing contracts and negotiating with large integrated payer provider models;
Negotiation, contracting and problem-solving skills
You have the ability to work independently, identify and build strong relationships at the C-Suite and D-Suite levels of a customer organization
You have a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; MBA, MHA or MPH preferred
Your career has been focused on life science

Philips Transparency Details
Total Target Earnings is composed of base salary + target incentive. At 85% to 120% performance achievement, the Target Earning potential is $191,250 to $270,000 annually, plus company fleet / car.
Total compensation may be higher or lower dependent upon individual performance.
Target Earnings pay is only one component of the Philips Total Rewards compensation package, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more.
