Job Description : We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Director of Advertising and Promotions to lead our advertising and promotional initiatives for our oncology products.

Reporting directly to the Vice President of Marketing, the Senior Director will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive advertising and promotional strategies to drive brand awareness, market share, and revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement integrated advertising and promotional campaigns to effectively market oncology products to healthcare professionals, patients, and key stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of advertising and promotional strategies with overall marketing objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of promotional materials, including print, digital, and multimedia content, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with market research teams to analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform advertising and promotional strategies.
  • Manage advertising and promotional budgets, allocate resources effectively, and track performance metrics to measure the success of campaigns.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external agencies, vendors, and key opinion leaders to support advertising and promotional efforts.
  • Stay abreast of industry regulations, guidelines, and best practices related to advertising and promotions in the pharmaceutical sector.

Qualifications :

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or advanced degree in a related field required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with a focus on advertising and promotions, preferably in the oncology therapeutic area.
  • Proven track record of success in developing and executing advertising and promotional campaigns that drive brand awareness and market share.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze market data, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing pharmaceutical advertising and promotions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
