About Habibi Nightclub :

Set to open in late spring 2024 on the scenic Miami River, Habibi is a French Moroccan supper club, a Wes Anderson-inspired fever dream come to life.

This lush destination evokes a royal escape to the French Moroccan Riviera, blending vibrant bites, enchanting cocktails, and a thrilling nightlife scene.

With interiors echoing Moorish architecture and adorned with velvet booths, silk draperies, and crystal chandeliers, Habibi invites guests into a captivating visual journey reminiscent of a Beatles-era Tangier.

Our nightly entertainment features roving belly dancers, contortionists, and percussionists, enhancing a nightlife-as-theater experience.

Habibi is not just a nightclub; it's an unforgettable voyage into the fiery atmosphere and unique traditions of French Morocco.

Position Overview :

As the General Manager of Habibi, you will lead this extraordinary venue from its preopening stages through to its operational and financial triumph.

You are tasked with spearheading a team dedicated to delivering a rich tapestry of cultural and sensory experiences, ensuring the club's seamless launch and ongoing success.

Your leadership will ensure Habibi becomes the beacon of nightlife in Miami, maintaining an environment that is as inviting as it is mesmerizing, right from its grand opening.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Oversee all facets of the nightclub's preopening activities, from staff recruitment and training to the setup of operational systems and procedures.
  • Manage the establishment and execution of preopening budgets and marketing strategies that capture the essence of a French Moroccan royal escape, attracting a discerning clientele from day one.
  • Lead the setup and fine-tuning of the club’s infrastructure, ensuring all elements meet Habibi's high standards for aesthetics and functionality.
  • Craft and implement marketing strategies that showcase the venue's unique theme and build anticipation ahead of the grand opening.
  • Negotiate contracts with entertainers and vendors to ensure a stellar lineup of attractions for the opening and beyond.
  • Develop and manage the financial aspects of the club, including preopening expenses, ensuring profitability while upholding our standards of elegance and quality.
  • Cultivate an exceptional team environment, guiding staff through the preopening phases and beyond to exceed the high expectations associated with our brand.
  • Establish rigorous standards of safety and cleanliness, ensuring every aspect is addressed prior to opening and maintained thereafter.
  • Address any preopening challenges swiftly and professionally, setting a precedent for problem-solving and excellence.

Requirements :

  • Proven experience in luxury hospitality or nightlife management, with significant expertise in managing preopening phases of high-end venues.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, capable of nurturing a high-performing team from the ground up.
  • Flexibility to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, particularly during the preopening phase.
  • Deep understanding of cultural nuances relevant to a French Moroccan-themed venue.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
