Inventory Manager
Job Description
- Handle materials management activities including scheduling, inventory control.
- Work with Production Manager to plan and schedule to meet production / customer demand.
- Monitor and set safety stock levels to meet delivery targets and inventory reduction goals.
- Creation / distribution and maintenance of job orders
- Ensure all materials are available for successful execution on shop floor.
- Perform cycle count.
- Effective material disposition.
- Plan and lead the physical inventory.
- Responsible for receiving function.
- Ensure all delivery receipts and put away processes are being executed accurately and timely.
- Ensure that all picking is competed and accurately entered.
- Collaborate with Production Manager and Quality to improve manufacturing flow.
- Participating in the continuous improvement of the production process and working conditions, by encouraging suggestions from the production staff.

This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to focus on tasks and ignore distractions. This position is critical to all levels of the company and the individual hired for the position must be dependable and proactive.
- 4-year Degree in business, supply chain, or related field is preferred but not required if the candidate has equivalent years of experience.
- 4+ years' experience in a fast-paced equivalent position in manufacturing industry.
- Experience with Epicor ERP system.
- Must be able to lift a min. of 25 lbs. unassisted.
