Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Job Summary :

Interim HealthCare in Montgomery County & Southern MD is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and provide quality care to patients in Gaithersburg, Maryland.

This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare / medical field, perfect for those looking for a work-life balance.

As a CNA, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse, and ensuring the safety and comfort of our clients in thier homes.

Compensation & Benefits :

We offer competitive hourly pay ranging from $18 to $20, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities :

• Provide direct patient care and assist with their daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and transitioning
• Monitor and report any changes in patient's physical or emotional well-being
• Provide medications reminders
• Assist with patient mobility, including transferring, turning, and positioning
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records
• Communicate with patients, families, and medical staff to ensure the highest quality of care is being provided
• Follow all safety and infection control protocols

Requirements :

• Active CNA certification in the state of Maryland
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a CNA in a homecare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Physical ability to lift and move patients
• Must pass a background check and drug screening
• Current CPR certification
