Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience, ARRT (R) and BLS certification for a fast-paced IR department.

Responsibilities

Work in a dynamic interventional radiology department supporting vascular surgeons and interventional radiologists

Equipment includes Philips rooms (one biplane) and one GE Hybrid room

Adult patient population in a short-term acute care setting

Shifts are 4x10 days from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM

EPIC EMR is used and proficiency is required

Regular floating between like units within the scope of skills is required

Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel contracts

First-time travelers are accepted for this position

All time-off requests must be declared at the time of application and may affect consideration

Reliable transportation is required for this assignment

Former permanent staff must wait 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside outside the 50-mile radius

Annual online modules must be completed before starting and take an average of 16 hours

COVID and flu vaccination may be required per compliance

Open to temp-to-perm transitions if mutually agreed upon after contract

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of recent interventional radiology technologist experience

Current BLS and ARRT (R) certifications required

Washington state license required (license required if applicable)

Interventional Radiology / Cardiovascular certification preferred

Experience with EPIC charting is required

Two supervisory references covering one year within the last three years are needed for consideration
