Shift : Overnight, 3 : 00 PM – 3 : 30 AM

Schedule : Every other weekend; rotating holidays

On-Call : None

Position Summary :

HumanEdge Health is seeking an experienced Travel RN – PACU for a 13-week assignment in Syracuse, NY. The role provides overnight coverage in a fast-paced post-anesthesia care unit, supporting the recovery and safe transition of surgical patients. Candidates must have current Epic EMR experience and a minimum of 2 years of PACU or acute care nursing experience.

Responsibilities :

Monitor and care for patients recovering from anesthesia after surgical procedures.

Assess patient condition, manage pain, and intervene for post-operative complications.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR according to hospital and regulatory standards.

Maintain patient safety and provide patient / family education as needed.

Qualifications :

Experience : Minimum 2 years of PACU or acute care experience

Certifications : ACLS required

BLS required

Systems : Epic EMR experience required

Skills : Strong post-anesthesia assessment, patient monitoring, and intervention skills
