Days : 1 Charge, 4 RNs, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC – Ratio 1 : 5 (up to 1 : 6)

Nights : 1 Charge, 3 RNs, 2 PCTs, 1 HUC – Ratio 1 : 6 (up to 1 : 7)

Equipment : Telemetry monitors, Baxter pumps

EMR : Cerner / PowerChart

Float Areas : Other Med-Surg units (Trauma, Renal, Ortho, Neuro, General Surgery, etc.)

Requirements :

Certifications : BLS, Telemetry Certification (required)

Experience : Telemetry and general Med-Surg

Preferred : Med-Surg certification

Typical Skills / Procedures :

Continuous telemetry monitoring

IV starts, Foley catheter insertion
