Profile Summary :

The Vice President, Investor Channel leads the day-to-day management of Voya's Investor Channel, serving as a key partner to the SVP, Investor Channel. This role is responsible for managing a team of leaders and advisors, driving sales performance, optimizing processes, and ensuring a consistent, high-quality advisor and client experience. The VP provides leadership and functional oversight of the Investor Channel, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and enabling seamless execution across teams.

Profile Description :

  • Lead and manage the Investor Channel team, overseeing performance, development, and execution across advisor groups.
  • Translate strategic direction from the SVP into actionable plans and ensure consistent execution across the channel.
  • Develop and manage sales goals, incentive structures, and performance metrics to drive advisor productivity and revenue growth.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance advisor efficiency, client experience, and business scalability.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (e.g., Compliance, Marketing, Operations, HR) to support advisor enablement and business readiness.
  • Lead and support key projects that align with business priorities, including technology adoption, reporting enhancements, and advisor feedback loops.
  • Foster a high-performance, collaborative culture that emphasizes accountability, development, and continuous improvement.

Knowledge & Experience :

  • 10+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in advisor management, sales leadership, or channel operations.
  • Proven experience managing leaders and large teams in a regulated, performance-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of retirement planning, investment products, and fiduciary standards.
  • Experience in working in high growth, performance focused environments.
  • Experience in organizational design and establishing new teams in support of evolving business needs.
  • Demonstrated experience in talent acquisition and talent retention.
  • Demonstrated success in setting and achieving sales goals, managing compensation plans, and driving advisor performance.
  • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives and process improvement efforts.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills.
  • Series 7, 24, 66 or 63 and 65 required (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe).
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or professional designation (e.g., CFP, CFA, CRPC) preferred.
  • This role has been designated for on-site, in person work in our Seaport office.

    Voya is committed to pay that's fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities. The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and / or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives. Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate's geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. $180,000 - $225,000 USD.
