Job Title : Junior Network Engineer

Join a fast-growing healthcare IT Managed Services Provider delivering secure, reliable technology that keeps healthcare providers focused on exceptional patient care. We’re looking for a Junior Network Engineer who’s eager to learn, collaborate with senior engineers, and grow into a key contributor supporting client network environments.

What You’ll Do

As a Junior Network Engineer, you’ll help monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across multiple client environments. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with firewalls, switches, wireless systems, and security technologies while learning from experienced engineers in a dynamic healthcare IT setting.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Monitor network performance and availability; identify and resolve connectivity or latency issues.
  • Support and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
  • Assist in implementing and maintaining network security measures to protect client environments.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to document network configurations, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide Tier 1–2 technical support and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Participate in troubleshooting network events using best practices and tools such as Auvik, Wireshark, and SolarWinds.
  • Help implement network segmentation (VLANs, DHCP, DNS) and ensure stability through proactive maintenance.
  • Stay current on emerging technologies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives..

What You’ll Bring :

  • Proficiency in networking protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs).
  • Experience with network hardware and software from major vendors (e.g., SonicWall, Cambium, UniFi, Meraki, Fortinet, Watchguard, etc.).
  • Knowledge of network security practices and tools.
  • Familiarity with network monitoring and management tools (e.g., Auvik, Wireshark, SolarWinds).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
