What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed. Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and along the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Report and document any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or violations of procedures. Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and / or law enforcement as necessary. Remain alert to surroundings and help to deter potential threats by maintaining a visible presence. Assist in maintaining order during emergencies or special events, supporting evacuation or other response measures as directed. Minimum Requirements : A Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required. A Security Guard Card or License is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
