About The Position

Description :

Active blue card CPI required to submit.

Unit specifics include a variety of patient demographics and acuity levels.

Patient ratios are 8 patients per nurse and 12 patients per mental health technician.

The unit takes patients in different age groups and acuity levels.

Type of equipment used includes a documentation system.

Coverage is required for three 12-hour shifts each day, seven days a week.

Days off are not guaranteed unless specified in the contract.

Crisis intervention skills are essential for providing immediate support to patients in crisis.

Effective communication skills, including active listening and empathy, are crucial for building trust with patients.

Responsibilities include monitoring patients for physical and psychological symptoms.

Development of individualized care plans based on patient needs is required.

Administering psychiatric medications and monitoring for side effects is part of the job.
