Job description

Are you experienced working on GC instruments and enjoy problem solving? Travel to a diverse group of labs, meet different people and see various instrument applications at work.

Overview

This position will allow you to apply your GC Instrument knowledge and technical experience to solve customers instrumentation issues and ensure optimal system performance.

Location : Home office-based in Houston with travel to client sites Duties Include :

Travel to client sites area to perform on-site service
Perform simple-to-complex repairs, installations, preventive maintenance, certification, refresher training, and more on company instruments
Act as a generalist, supporting all company product lines, including gas chromatography products

Ideal Skills / Knowledge :

Minimum AA, BS, or higher in a technical discipline, electronics or chemistry preferred

2 + years experience with hands-on equipment troubleshooting

GC (Gas Chromatography) or related elemental analyzers experience preferred

Excellent interpersonal skills

The ability to juggle / prioritize a busy schedule over a large territory

Able to travel regionally
