Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Richfield, Ohio. This contract-to-permanent position plays a critical role in ensuring seamless interactions with fleet contractors and carriers. The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced environments, is highly detail-oriented, and is committed to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide attentive and professional communication to independent contractors and external carriers, promoting a positive interaction experience.
- Address basic questions, concerns, and issues from contractors, resolving or escalating as necessary to ensure satisfactory outcomes.
- Proactively monitor active shipments, identify potential disruptions, and take appropriate steps or communicate with customer service teams to ensure timely resolutions.
- Accurately record all relevant contractor, driver, and carrier interactions in the freight management system for comprehensive documentation.
- Manage multiple priorities and adapt to evolving demands in a dynamic work environment.
- Effectively listen and respond to fleet needs to support operational goals.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to help meet overall business objectives.
Requirements :
Previous experience in a customer service or call center role, preferably handling inbound and outbound calls.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites and other relevant software tools.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a high-pressure environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with order entry processes and shipment monitoring systems.Problem-solving skills and the ability to escalate issues appropriately when required.
