Building Services Supervisor
This is a working supervisory position. This position is responsible for completing event meeting rooms, ballroom and general assembly area house furniture needs in a concise, efficient manner which includes related paperwork and documentation.
Primary duties and responsibilities include :
- Reviewing event documents to determine crew assignments
- Prioritizing event needs to evaluate crew disbursement
- Maintaining event documents in an orderly manner
- Completing daily job time sheets for accounting
- Planning standard maintenance projects into schedule
- Inspecting sets for compliance to fire rules and event demands
- Attending event pre-cons / meetings as assigned
- Coordinating department tasks with other building departments
- Analyzing food service involvement for equipment requirements
- Maintaining / recording on-call time sheets
- Assisting building services manager in recommendations for hiring and employee relations
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Customer service experience, requiredTwo or more years of experience in supervisory / leadership role, requiredMinimum high school diploma or GED, required; some college coursework, preferredDemonstrate excellent verbal and written communication and inter-personal skills among all levels of staff and clienteleWork effectively with diverse groups of people among all levels within an organizationPerform job tasks effectively, despite sudden deadlines and changing prioritiesExceptional problem solving and organizational skillsExcellent record of dependability, reliability, and integrityAbility to speak, understand, and read standard EnglishBasic computer skillsWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office products, preferredWorking conditions :
