Behavioral Health Therapist IV Job Responsibilities :
Serves as clinical expert providing a range of therapeutic services, psychoeducational programming and behavioral interventions to assist the client in achieving progress towards the goals and objectives of individualized treatment plans.Assesses and diagnoses mental health and / or substance use disorders through a bio / psycho / social department specific and evidenced based assessment identifying patient and family goals / needs.Serves as a clinical leader by providing clinical supervision to team members seeking licensure as well as supervision / mentoring of graduate students during clinical internships.Integrates assessments using information related to cultural, clinical, ethnic, age and other factors into the plan of care while providing a range of therapeutic interventions, psycho-educational programming and behavioral interventions (when indicated) to assist the patient / family in achieving the goals and objectives of the individualized service plan.Minimum Qualifications :
Education : Master's Degree, Ph.D., PsyD, EdD in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling, Substance Use Disorders or Behavioral Health related field.Experience : Five years of experience post licensure in mental health / substance use disorder treatment, psychoeducational programming including targeted, evidence-based interventions (crisis intervention, trauma, and integrative therapies).Certification : Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association within 3 months of hire. Crisis Prevention Institute within 6 months of hire. CPI in-person training for non-violent crisis intervention, receive CPI blue card within 6 months of hire.Licensure : Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP). Approved Clinical Supervisor Within 3 MonthsPreferred Qualifications :
Run a specialized group one-on-one therapyStrong interest in substance use disordersExperience in adult services
