Industrial Engineer

Industrial Engineer Location : Worthington, OH43085 Employees : 50 Industry : Manufacturing Reports To : Director of Operations What you’ll be getting paid to do :

• Primarily focused on lean and continuous improvement efforts for a 120k square-foot facility
• Reducing lead times, cost, and improving profitability for the organization
• Establishing base line metrics for multiple product lines labor and material cost / unit, lead time, velocity, and first-pass yield
• Developing and presenting a list of technology or process changes to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency
• Helping to execute projects to reduce cost and reduce lead time over time
• Assisting with failure analysis and resolutions of any product failures

What you could bring to the team to impact this role and company :

• 3+ years of professional experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement
• Experience training teams on lean fundamentals
• History of improving safety, quality, and costs for manufacturing environments
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is preferred
• Industrial Engineering degree is preferred or similar engineering degree
• Experience with startup production operations or new product manufacturing
• Understanding of product quality, component quality, and process deficiencies
