Spiritual Care Chaplain Boca Raton

Trustbridge Hospice a part of Empath Health is seeking a compassionate Spiritual Care Chaplain to join our team in Boca .

This position is onsite and full time. Hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m . helping ensure patients and families receive a smooth supportive experience during an important stage of care. Please note there is one weekend shift per 6 weeks.

Since 1978 Trustbridge Hospice has cared for more than 200000 South Florida families. As a community-based nonprofit we provide 24 / 7 hospice and palliative care along with caregiver support and bereavement services for families facing serious illness.

What Youll Do

• Provide compassionate spiritual and emotional support to patients and families that are facing end-of-life grief and crisis situations.
• Coordinate spiritual care services with community clergy to ensure patients and families receive appropriate individualized religious or spiritual support.
• Deliver spiritual counseling and guidance within diverse and ecumenical settings including care for the dying and bereaved.
• Maintain accurate timely and concise documentation of patient records
• Participate in bereavement and community events support organizational mission and goals and adapt to environments that may include exposure to pets and smoke.
