Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer to take ownership of electrical design, automation programming, and commissioning for advanced industrial equipment. Youll be at the heart of engineering innovation. You will be designing control systems, developing PLC logic, and bringing custom automation projects to life from concept through start-up.

This position offers the opportunity to work across a wide range of industries, collaborating with talented mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver complex, high-performance automated machinery.

Projects Youll Work On

• Design and implement complete control systems, including schematics, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Create detailed electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical (E-Plan experience is a plus).
• Program PLCs and HMIs (Allen Bradley / Rockwell Studio 5000 or Siemens TIA Portal) to integrate robotics, sensors, motion systems, and vision technology.
• Define and configure I / O for PLCs and robotic systems.
• Remotely connect to field systems to implement program updates and troubleshoot issues.
• Lead on-site startup, debug, commissioning, and operator training.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to establishing company-wide technical standards.
• Oversee project timing, budgeting, and external partner coordination for panel builds or robot programming.
