Overview
General Affairs Specialist is a member of the Human Resources Division Leadership Team and is responsible for managing the following Team Member services : domestic and international travel, Expatriate assistance, vending and food services, janitorial services, administrative supplies, and Company sponsored events.
Responsibilities
Develops and manages a strategic vision for the General Affairs DepartmentManages the General Affairs Team, sets expectations, evaluates Team Member job performance, and develops solutions to ensure business successEvaluates on-going internal customer needs and provides reasonable / cost effective solutionsDevelops and manages an annual communications plan; reports past, present, and future news and information and oversees the production of a quarterly newsletterManages the Company sponsored Policy Program; ensures that participants are informed of program expectations and benefits; and provides timely updates on program changesManages Company owned GA Operation and monitor to ensure compliance with program guidelinesNegotiates with vending and food service contractors, establishes expectations, receives Team Member feedback, and pro-actively resolves internal customer complaintsManages various Company sponsored events and programs such as the VIP visits and other onsite local employees engagement eventsManages Expatriates operation support with initial on-boarding and other transitional needsDevelops and manages an annual departmental budget, evaluates monthly spending, and ensures compliance with budget constraintsManages the facilities janitorial Services, sets cleanliness standards, and monitors on-going resultsQualifications
Ability to speak and write fluently in both Korean and English professionallyBachelors Degree in Business Management, Human Resources or related fieldTwo (2) years of supervisory experienceAbility to develop, implement, and manage strategic plansAbility to develop, motivate, and inspire Team MembersMust be able to establish performance expectations and hold Team Members accountable for meeting annual goals and objectivesMust be goal oriented, customer focused, and results drivenExcellent time management skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProven ability to set strategic direction and to manage teamsProven interpersonal, communication, and time management skillsProven experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
