DCTLIA-Fabrication Specialist A - D62-Mechanical Assembly
Job Description :
- Regular and predictable attendance is required.
- Performs routine productioan assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.
- Prepares aircraft parts for painting. Makes necessary patterns, performs layout and applies prescribed primers, paints and finishes.
- Performs machine set-up, machining and fabricating of sheet metal and extrusion.
- Assembles precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components.
- Assembles and installs wire harnesses and avionics products.
- Prepares test articles, fixtures and data collection devices to perform various tests.
- Performs composite Client-up, fabrication and assembly tasks.
- Works on articles of moderate complexity using established drawings and requirements.
Hard Skills :
- Experience with hand tools preferred
- Familiar with blueprint interpretation
- Assembly experience preferred
- Composite material experience (fabrication and assembly) preferred
