Manual / CNC Machinist Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Manual / CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating both Manual and CNC machinery and will be responsible for producing precision parts and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Operate Manual and CNC milling machines and other related equipment to produce high-quality parts.

Experience with ProtoTRAK CNC mill is a plus.

Experience operating a Doosan 5700 or a machine with a Fanuc 10M controler is a bonus.

Set up tooling and fixtures for machining operations.

Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ensure accuracy.

Assemble machined components as required.

Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during production.

Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to fabricate parts as needed.

Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize production processes and reduce waste.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.

Skills

Proficient in operating both Manual and CNC machines.

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex machinery.

Experience with tooling setup and adjustment for various machining operations.

Familiarity with forklift operation for material handling within the facility.

Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques to improve workflow efficiency.

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
